Open-air commercial complex with major department stores, dining, a movie theater & event space. The Bloc is one of the few gems located in Downtown, Los Angeles. What I love about this place is the art work and quotes painted on the walls throughout the building. The open courtyard with seating is also a very nice touch. This is one of the few areas downtown where you can shop in peace without being harassed by panhandlers.
