Roma Termini is the main railway station of Rome, Italy. It is named after the district of the same name, which in turn took its name from the ancient Baths of Diocletian, which lies across the street from the main entrance
Roma Termini is Rome’s biggest train station, and one of Europe’s largest as well. There are 29 platforms and daily service to cities all over Italy as well as elsewhere in Europe. The name “Termini” comes from the station’s location in Rome.
Well run train station. Make sure to arrive early and check your track. Go to the platform when the track number is posted. You do need a QR code in Rome to put through the turnstiles to get to the platforms. The trains were at the platform a little longer in Rome than in other cities, because it was a terminal (first) stop for us. But some of the trains had very short layovers.
