Tefuye Historic Trail, Alishan Township, Chiayi County, Taiwán

Tefuye has an elevation of 800-100 meters. It is a large village but, compared to Dabang, it is quieter. The kuba meeting house is the village landmark and it also has a beautiful church. Administratively, it is the eighth to 12th neighborhoods of Dabang Village. Most of the village is suitable for farming, the fields spread along the Zengwen River valley, the upper reaches of Zhongkeng Creek to the east and the gentle slopes between 1000-1500 meters to the southeast. These slopes are quite far from the village and getting to them is inconvenient.

The main crops are bamboo shoots and high mountain vegetables (notably wasabi) in summer. The best scenery is between the mountain roads behind Tefuye Villa and the river valley, including Shanshui ancient trail, a waterfall and Mysterious Valley.
