Te Anau Wildlife Centre
For a peek at some of Fiordland’s birds that are difficult to see in the wild, visit the Te Anau Wildlife Centre beside Lake Te Anau. It’s a great place for children and families, and an easy 30 minute walk around the lake or it is a short 3 minute drive from our Holiday Park.

Local Fishing Spots
You can fish year round on Lake Te Anau and the lake directly across from our Holiday Park has been a successful location for past guests! Fish caught in Fiordland are Brown Trout and Rainbow Trout. A fishing licence is required to fish locally.
