Tambaron Island Beach, Oriental Mindoro, Philippines

Tambaron offers a serene, untouched environment with clear waters for snorkeling and green forests (trekking) where you can directly interact with the native Mangyans.

Turtles sometimes visit the island to lay eggs, with schools of Skipjack Tuna migrating within the area around Dec – April and Wild ducks during the rainy season. It acts as a hub for island hopping due to its proximity and innate freshwater source, with fishing villages nearby which supplies fresh seafood daily

The island is currently being targeted as a windsurfing/kite boarding spot due its windy nature. This has attracted attention from professionals in Boracay and Puerto Galera which gave way to an open tournament last April.

It will be repeated by 1Q of 2010 which will hopefully result to the development of a surfing school. Recent Scuba surveys gave positive results, and we are currently looking for interested divers who can put up shop within the island
