The Sydney Heritage Fleet is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to preserving and showcasing Sydney’s rich maritime history. Some of the iconic vessels in the Sydney Heritage Fleet include *SS Waratah*, a working steam tug built in 1902, and *James Craig*, a fully restored 19th-century barque. Visitors can take cruises on these heritage vessels around Sydney Harbour, providing a rare opportunity to experience maritime history in a hands-on way. The fleet also operates a museum and shipyard where restoration work takes place, offering insights into traditional shipbuilding and maintenance techniques.
