Sunaysilah Fort, Ash Sharqiyah South Governorate, Oman
Sunaysilah Fort is located in Sur , Sharqiyah South ,Oman.The tourists can now visit such a historical landmark distinguished by its unique architectural elements. The visitors also enjoyed watching the thrilling landscape of the wilayat where the sea is in harmony with the land.It is possible to climb all four towers which offer great views of the town.The Ministry of Tourism (MoT) has completed renovation of the Sunaysilah Fort in the wilayat of Sur in Sharqiyah South Governorate.
The fort was constructed during the reign of the late Imam Nasir bin Murshid Al Yarubi in 1648 AD on a hill overlooking Sunaysilah village.
