Sun Park Beach Theme Park

Beijing Sun Park is a large-scale integrated and multi-functional amusement park and used to be the site of the former Prince’s Palace in Chaoyang District. It was formerly known as Shuiduizi Park and was founded in 1984. In 1992, it was renamed to Beijing Sun Park. This park is approximately 2.8 km in length and approximately 1.5 km in width.

The Sun Park features flower gardens, a fairground with rides, including a roller coaster, landscaped areas and several large swimming pools. Bicycles and boats may also be rented at various locations in the park. Beijing Sun Park is not just a simple park, but there are many charming thing in the park. It consists of the venue for the beach volleyball, which hosted beach volleyball events of the 2008 Beijing Olympics Games, using sand shipped in from Hainan island, and more than other 20 scenic spots, including Century Fountain Square, Art Square, The Ecological Valley, Bathing Beach, Resource of Life Scenic Area, etc.
