From 1970 until 1989 the Trisorio family provided a veritable community of artists, critics, gallery owners and museum directors with a very special space in which to work: Villa Orlandi in Anacapri.
Artists such as Cy Twombly, Jannis Kounellis, Joseph Beuys, Mario Merz, Sol LeWitt, Pier Paolo Calzolari, Luigi Ontani, Kenny Scharf, Cindy Sherman and Ettore Spalletti, among others, have stayed there.
