Strelka is a station of the Nizhny Novgorod Metro that is under construction with a planned opening in May 2018.[1] It will be the northern terminus of the Sormovsko–Meshcherskaya line.
The station will serve Nizhny Novgorod Stadium, one of the venues for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The name, which means “arrow” in Russian, refers to the Spit of Nizhny Novgorod at the confluence of the Oka and Volga rivers.
