Their motto here is ‘think global, eat local’ and you can choose from classical, international and subtly spiced Asian-influenced fare. They make their own haggis and host regular theme nights. On the ground floor is a shabby-chic café-bar; the intimate downstairs restaurant opens evenings and weekends.
Over the twenty five years, Stravaigin always been a trusted local sanctuary where great food and a friendly pint go hand in hand. A relaxed, lively space serving experimental, worldly food, and traditional Scottish measures (a third more drink than you get elsewhere for your money). From sustainable artisanal wines, old fashioned cooking lagers, hipster beers, cracking cocktails, none dull as dishwater mocktails, we’ve got it covered. We are always on the hunt for the weird and wonderful.
