Pay a visit to Monument to Abu Ali Ibn Sino, dedicated to probably the greatest philosopher, mathematician, and all-around scholarly man of Islamic Golden Age. The high statue represents the scientist in a standing pose, grasping a book, which represents his never-ending pursuit of knowledge.
