St. Peter’s Church

St. Peter’s Church, also known as St. Petri Kirche in German, is one of the five main churches in Hamburg and is located in the city center. Dating back to the 12th century, it is one of the oldest churches in Hamburg and has undergone several renovations and reconstructions over the centuries.

The church features a distinctive red-brick Gothic architecture, with a tall tower that offers panoramic views of the city. Inside, visitors can admire beautiful stained glass windows, ornate altars, and other historical artifacts.
