St. James’s Park is a London Underground station near St. James’s Park in the City of Westminster, central London. It is served by the District and Circle lines and is between Victoria and Westminster stations. It is in Travel card Zone 1.
Half a mile away from Westminster and Victoria is St James’s Park Tube Station which is located just off Victoria Street in London. Of course, due to the location, it is in Travel Zone 1. it is a small station so does not have step-free access and it only has two platforms for the District and Circle line.
The station was opened on 24 December 1868 by the District Railway (DR, now the District line) when the company opened the first section of its line between South Kensington and Westminster stations.
