Spiralen, Drammen, Norway 

Spiralen is a tunnel in Bragernesåsen in Drammen. The tunnel winds up six and a half times around an axis and come out in the open air on the Spiraltoppen, where there is a restaurant and a recreational area with a view.

The place is the starting point for countless trails, including lighted trails through Drammensmarka. Spiralen was carved out of the mountain in 1953 and was opened to byjubileet in 1961 by King Olav V.

The tunnel is 1650 meters long, it runs 50 feet above sea level, and the top is 213 meters above sea level. Opening hours / toll road. Maximum height for buses is 3.65 meters.
