Southport Pier is a pleasure pier in Southport, Merseyside, England. Opened in August 1860, it is the oldest iron pier in the country. Its length of 1,108 m makes it the second-longest in Great Britain, after Southend Pier.
There is nothing better to blow the cob webs away than a stoll down Southport Pier – the oldest iron pier and second longest in the UK! When you get to the end the view opens up to and expansive coastline boasting magnificent views. But that is not all! Almost a 360 view of the amazing coast! And if the walk to the end is too much then the Pier Pit Stop at the half way point has a range of icecream, hot donuts and a licensed bar!
