Southport Pier Pavilion

Southport Pier is a pleasure pier in Southport, Merseyside, England. Opened in August 1860, it is the oldest iron pier in the country. Its length of 1,108 m makes it the second-longest in Great Britain, after Southend Pier.
There is nothing better to blow the cob webs away than a stoll down Southport Pier – the oldest iron pier and second longest in the UK! When you get to the end the view opens up to and expansive coastline boasting magnificent views. But that is not all! Also at the end of the Pier is the undiscovered and recently refurbished Pier Pavillion – if you have not yet visited the pavillion then it is a must do on your next visit to Southport.

Full of nostalgic charm, the pavilion has a vintage arcade with old penny slot machines – step back in time and have a go! From day to night, the Pier Pavillion is a great place to stop for a spot of lunch, a coffee with a friend or a refreshing glass of wine in those hot summer months. And what a view! Almost a 360 view of the amazing coast! And if the walk to the end is too much then the Pier Pit Stop at the half way point has a range of icecream, hot donuts and a licensed bar! From day to night, the Southport Pier Pavillion is open throughout the day to visitors and their new license allow them to host events, such as weddings, music and comedy events. So follow their socials to keep and eye on what is coming up!
