Tourist site D’EBOGO, Cameroon
The site Ebogo, located about fifteen kilometers by track of Mbalmayo, was chosen by the World Tourism Organization to develop a sustainable tourism site. The river that crisscrosses the dense forest is the main attraction for visitors to Ebogo. Several other tourist activities are also offered.
These include hiking in the forest on the botanical trail, traditional fishing sessions, wild bird watching, butterfly catches, a visit to the mouth of So’o, a visit to the Go’s three-hundred-year-old tree ” 12 meters in diameter, flagship product of the site, visiting the parrot island etc. Calm and relaxation assured after the hectic life of Yaoundé which is about 1:30 drive.
