Singleton Maize Maze
Every year at our maize maze in Singleton we have a new theme. Following on from the success of our Wild Animals Maze last year and Star Wars theme in 2017, this year’s theme focuses on the crows stealing our golden maize. Take our maze challenge, set out over almost 12 acres, follow the clues and stop the crows, don’t panic if you find the scale of the maze a little overwhelming! We have maps available to help you with your quest priced at just £1 and for the little ones we have our themed mini maze.
On its dedicated 12 acres site at Mount Farm the Singleton Maize Maze always has a surprise in store for its visitors with an annually changing and uniquely designed maze created in a growing crop of corn on the cob maize which grows between 8 and 10 feet tall, before it is harvested in October and used to feed the farm¢s herd of pedigree Simmental cattle. We also have a ¡Mini Maze¢ of approximately 1/2 acre you can try first before attempting the ¡Big One¢
This year visitors will be challenged and the children captivated by the Crops & Robbers theme of the maze with maps available priced from just £1. Over the many years the Singleton Maze has been rated as one of the major mazes in the North West ? often being spoken of as an alternative to the attractions of its near neighbour Blackpool.
Lots of things for children to do. The indoor play area has trampolines, volley ball, basket ball, football, go karts, little tykes cars, giant connect 4, eating area for picnics and they do their own food as well. The maize has a quiz as well, find all the letters to win a prize.
