A popular alternative to nearby Essaouira, where the winds tend to be high, Sidi Kaouki is a rather untouched paradise, with a wild beach, small sand dunes and a marabout keeping watch over the waters. During off season, horses and camels are available for beach treks and loungers are available for sunseekers, while the central square houses a simple café and restaurant. Hotels range from simple to mid-range, with the selling feature being the wild, open beach views.
