In the spot that used to be Late Night Valentine, Si Paradiso’s retro Italian vibes will have you feeling like vintage Amalfi has arrived in Perth. Brought to us by the masterminds behind El Grotto and Cale Mason, the creative director and one of the legends behind Late Night Valentine, you can expect epic drinks, delicious eats, live music and a space you’ll never want to leave. Think mosaic tiling and stained glass windows inside with vibrant beach umbrellas and abundant greenery outside. Basically, the Italian child of Motel Mexicola. The space has been split into three clearly defined spaces and we couldn’t pick a favourite if we tried.

The lobby bar is a place to drink cocktails, eat to your heart’s content, and dance after dinner. The basement is more of an underground electronic dance club and intimate area for music lovers—those of you feeling the pain of LNV closing should be excited for this one. The amphitheatre—the heart of the venue—will be home to artists, parties, movie screenings and regular music events like live jazz and bossa nova performances. The menu is a new take on traditional Italian dishes, using locally sourced seafood and the like to create a new style of eating in Perth. Not to mention, Ryan Chu from Chu Bakery is working with Si Paradiso to bring us delicious breads and pizza. Uh, book us a table ASAP!
