Ximending, located in the northeastern part of the Wanhua District of Taipei, is a major point of interest for Taiwan’s fashion-conscious. The area is heavily influenced by Japanese culture and offers a plethora of stores featuring an eclectic array of wares to delight shoppers of all ages. Numerous pubs and clubs can be found around the area, attracting hordes of foreign and local twentysomethings.
A well-known tattoo parlor also is located in Ximending. If you’re looking to get inked up while in Taiwan, this is one of the best places to visit.
