hanzu Beach is slightly shorter hence ideal for beach walks and picnics at low tide. If you intend to walk to Bamburi Beach, ensure you have great footwear as there’s a rocky stretch which is quite slippery. Another activity to enjoy at low tide is walking to the reef which is part of Mombasa Marine National Park and Reserve.
