Before joining Centrepoint, he gained extensive experience in the private sector, working with companies like KPMG and British Telecom. His tenure at Centrepoint is marked by a commitment to addressing the root causes of youth homelessness and advocating for systemic change. Obakin’s efforts have been recognized with several honors, including being appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2016 for his services to young people.
