Since 1988 we’ve been fuelling the curiosity and igniting the ideas that will forge the communities and workplaces of the future. Because awe and wonder is not just for kids. Over the past three decades, we’ve brought cutting edge science to everyone from adventure-ready kids to inquisitive adults – igniting a lifelong curiosity in the process. Our exhibitions are world-renowned for their creative, inspiring interactivity. Because we’ve found the experiences that engage the hands also engage the mind – whether you’re six or 106, it’s hard not to learn when you’re exploring. It might sound playful, but it doesn’t mean it’s simplified. In fact, it’s real science – and the people behind it – that provide our most inspiring experiences of all. It’s why we host local and global experts at Scitech Perth HQ, and stage major community events like the Perth Science Festival and RoboCup Junior WA.

It’s why we connect promising young people with industry mentors to facilitate real research projects. And it’s why we recruit budding meteorologists from regional WA primary schools to collect data for real TV weather reports. Our vision is to be a world leader in providing innovative and creative STEM programs that inspire, engage and develop citizens for Western Australia’s social well-being, economic prosperity and sustainability.
