Santuario do Caraca, Santa Barbara, State of Minas Gerais, Brazil
Serra do Caraça is the name of a section of the Serra do Espinhaço located in the municipalities of Catas Altas and Santa Bárbara , being patrimony of Catas Altas in the state of Minas Gerais , Brazil . It also gives name to the old Caraça College, where important personalities of Brazilian history studied. Today, still known as Caraça Natural Park or Caraça Sanctuary Complex is a Private Natural Heritage Reserve ( RPPN ), which covers the entire region.
