Santo Antônio de Lisboa is a district of the city of Florianópolis, the state capital of Santa Catarina in Brazil.It is known for having strong Azorian culture due to the immigration in the 19th century.
Urbanized and with a narrow strip of dark sand, the beach of Santo Antônio de Lisboa attracts many restaurants that serve fresh seafood brought by the fishermen of the village, adepts of the artisanal fishing. In the surroundings, the Azorean architecture, the colors, the tree-lined streets and the typical lace crafts shops complete the tour, which is even more special at sunset. It is 17 kilometers from the city center.
