Remember: Santa Monica beach is not a dog beach. Leashed dogs are permitted along the boardwalk.
Navigating Santa Monica Pier
In the middle of the beach, extending from Colorado Boulevard and the center of Santa Monica, is the Santa Monica Pier. The pier is a landmark for the beach and the city, featuring an amusement park, aquarium, shopping, restaurants and more. Maintained by the city, this beach is fringed by a range of businesses & offers many activities.
The beach is very big and clean. There are so many things to do at the pier. Various kind of rides and local food shops at the pier makes it a happening place. Be sure to keep masks with you, entrance in the shops without mask is restricted. There are also bicycle rentals just after the public parking area at the beach. The parking is available from sunrise to sunset with 7$ fee. There are many sand volleyball courts too. We loved our time there and will visit it soon.
