Santuario della Madonna dello Splendore, Giulianova TE, Italy
Sanctuary Our Lady of Splendor, Giulianova is located in a panoramic area at the top of Giulianova. It was built 1557. It is said our Lady appeared in bright light to a local farmer and asked him to strive for the construction of a chapel. As proof of the apparition, a miraculous spring gushed in the site that, since then, attracts devotees and pilgrims. Inside there are beautiful paintings attributed to Veronese and Giacomo Farelli, a wooden tabernacle, work of the Marangoni Capuchin friars, and a statue of the Madonna.
