Well-known brewery with a long history lures locals & visitors with tours, tastings & a gift shop. The boston brewery. Jim koch first brewed boston lager in his kitchen in 1984. In a beer landscape full of light lagers, he knew he had something different on his hands with this rich, complex, and balanced family recipe. After coming across an abandoned lot in jamaica plain, he settled into what is now the boston brewery to start the craft beer revolution. Today, the boston brewery is home to our research and development brewhouse and serves as the home of experiences.
