Saison Restaurant

Saison Restaurant

Saison is a modern American restaurant located in San Francisco, California. Our cuisine is focused on wood fire cooking of seasonal ingredients. We work directly with fishermen, hunters, gatherers, ranchers, and farmers to source the best products in local existence. The kitchen and dining room share the same open space, creating a dynamic and intimate exchange between our team and guests. Reservations – We serve dinner Tuesday through Saturday with reservations available from 5:30 PM. Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. On the 1st of every month, reservations are released for the following 60 days. Reservations are available through our booking system, TOCK. To secure a reservation, a deposit is required. To reschedule or cancel, please contact us directly at info@saisonsf.com or (415) 828-7990. Dietary restrictions – Please make sure to let us know if any guests in your party have any dietary restrictions or allergies on the questionnaire received after securing the reservation. If your guests have any severe allergies or dietary restrictions, we kindly ask that you contact us as soon as possible at (415) 828-7990. We will confirm what accommodations are able to be made and confirm the reservation.

WINE – Saison has one of the country’s largest and most remarkable selections of Old and New World wines with a special emphasis on Burgundy. If you would like to speak with one of our sommeliers, please contact us here. Emerging from its first decade on the San Francisco culinary scene, Saison chef Joshua Skenes continues to redefine modern American cuisine. The restaurant highlights seasonal ingredients fished, hunted, gathered and grown by local producers and often cooked over wood fires. The open kitchen, hung with drying herbs and fruits, is at the center of the brick-walled, taxidermy-hung interior, offering a remarkably unstuffy interpretation of fine dining. The multi-course tasting menu, at $298, is among the most expensive in the city with an equally remarkable Burgundian-focused wine list. But, after making it into the World’s 50 Best Restaurant list twice, it’s safe to say this meal is worth the splurge.
