Rue du Parc de Montjuzet, Clermont-Ferrand, France

It has the city nestled at his feet and the chain of Puys and mountains Forez horizon. Leaving Montjuzet Park, the walker has only one idea: go back! To maintain your physical condition or get drunk the scents of the Mediterranean garden with cypresses, olive trees, umbrella pines, lavender, rosemary and other mimosas.

Its many playgrounds delight children whose parents can lie on the lawns in the sun, away from the noise of the city with volcanoes within reach. Its twenty hectares offer the possibility of great walks and its picnic areas the occasion of pleasant lunches on the grass.

The city of Clermont-Ferrand has 8 hives: 4 in the parks of Montjuzet and 4 in the park of Creux de l’Enfer.
Since 2010, the City and Unaf (National Union of French beekeeping) are bound by an agreement for the installation, monitoring and exploitation of apiaries. Through this partnership, the City is committed to the operation “Bee, sentinel of the environment,” in order to sensitize Clermont residents to the essential role of bees in maintaining biodiversity. In 2016, the City obtained the labelAPIcité®, thanks to its local policy on pollinator protection.
