The trip to Morretes starts at BR-116 – where it runs 40 kilometers – and ends at Estrada da Graciosa.
There are 33 kilometers of cobblestone pavilions filled with winding bends, surrounded by flowering slopes, peaks, mountains, sea and waterfalls. To better appreciate the enchanting scenery, there are strategic viewpoints.
The road was inaugurated in 1873 and requires low speed for two reasons: to enjoy the look and to avoid accidents – there are many curves, the pavement is not the most reliable and the visibility is usually hampered by the fog. Go only on sunny days.
