Rocca di Vignola, Unesco Site, Vignola, Italy
In 1997, the Modena Cathedral, the Torre Civica and Piazza Grande sono stati declared World Heritage by UNESCO. Rocca di Vignola is a beautiful castle in the homonymous municipality located on the banks of the Panaro. According to tradition, it dates back to the 8th centuary When constructed as fort in the same place where stands the old town of Vignola.
