Rio Preguicas, State of Maranhao, Brazil

The name “sloths” has its origin, according to the report of the oldest inhabitants, the fact of the presence of many sloths that inhabited the forests of the river banks many years ago and its calm and calm waters run lazily to the taste of the chains Ebb and flood.
The River Preguiças is born in the village of Barra da Campineira, in the municipality of Anapurus and travels more than 120 km until it empties in the Atlantic Ocean in front of the town of Atins.
