The lush forest is impressive, but the main attractions are the numerous waterfalls, pools, and submerged caves formed along the river. Jump, dive, or zipline into the cool water, teeming with fish.
Back at the farmhouse, after a delicious feast of local delicacies, the slightly eccentric owner “calls” brightly colored macaws and monkeys, which you can hand feed.
