Restaurante Clos

Here, in the impressive Madrid outpost of sommelier and restaurateur Marcos Granda, the owner of the famous Skina restaurant in Marbella who has brought this different dining option to Madrid, the kitchen and the wine cellar take on equal prominence.

This eatery, with its contemporary ambience, is the perfect setting in which to enjoy modern cuisine with a creative tint, based around the traditional flavours and the best ingredients from around Spain. Here, the gastronomic approach is epitomised by Clos Madrid’s mantra: great restaurants are those that make guests feel important. The name Clos is a French word for a high-quality wine estate surrounded by a wall.

Marcos Granda is a restorer. Its four award-winning establishments leave no room for doubt. But Marcos, above all, is a sommelier. And from the hand of this wine expert, this winery converted into a restaurant was born with the humble intention of honoring its cultivation, agriculture and production.

Because beyond mythology and symbolism, the vine, the grape, the vineyards, the grape harvest and the wine are synonymous with tradition, hard work, but well done work, nature, of sacrifice, effort and the search for excellence in the result.

Like Marcos Granda and his team, who endorse these attributes in their daily services in recognition of all those in charge of taking care of our most precious treasure: the land that gives us good to eat and good to drink.

An ode to good wine and its producers, accompanied by traditional haute cuisine, creating the perfect harmony between flavor, pleasure and lyrical.

The vine, adorned with clusters, after giving rise to an underground sprout, stretches its flowery arm towards the sky and the abundant shoots sprout from its buds, ringing when they fall on each other, although before they are silent.

This is the winery that Marcos Granda hides in the center of Madrid and that is the heart of its gastronomic offer.

Dishes created from their wines to accompany the flavors of this drink that the gods put in our way for the enjoyment and delight of our palates.
