It is in this charming place that you can discover the waterfalls, streams strewn with tuff, the cave and the Abbey with guided tours. Your walks will take you to the foot of steep cliffs, or to gazebos.

At the bifurcation of the alley lined with lime trees and the path down to the bottom of the valley, appears a house that is probably the former home of the gardener.

The old part of this house can be dated from the middle of the 16th century, thanks to the arms of the Abbot Guillaume de Poupet engraved between the two stone arches of the ground floor. While the two upper floors that opened, one on the square, the other on the west slope, were reserved for housing. The ground level ground floor with the garden could, provided that the spaces left between the arches were glazed, be a winter garden.

To the right of the house below the road, extend to the valley of the Seille, gardens whose existence is formally reported in the eighteenth century. The situation of these “large gardens” located next to the Abbey, suggests that the monks and their
