Réserve naturelle de Lomako-Yokokala, DRC 

The Loma-Yokokala Wildlife Reserve, created on 18 June 2006, has just received funding from the French government in the order of 781,000 euros. These funds will be used to strengthen the operational capacity of the Congolese Institute for Nature Conservation, the owner of this area, to form village monitoring brigades and the development of ecotourism on the reserve. Like most outside funding, this funding will be delivered by the international NGO AWF.

The French Global Environment Facility has just granted 781,000 euros of funding to the Lomako-Yokokala Wildlife Reserve located in the province of Ecuador.

In the presence of Bernard Prevost and Kalambay wa Kabongo, respectively Ambassador of France in the DRC and Secretary General at the Ministry of the Environment, Nature Conservation, Water and Forests, the African Wildlife Foundation and the Agency French Development signed an agreement relating to this financing.
