Rabat, the white city often shrouded in a light mist, is located just over 200 miles from Marrakech, towards the Atlantic Coast. Make the most of a stay in Rabat and soak up some sun on the beaches in Temara and Skirat, just south of the capital, before heading off to visit the country’s imperial cities. North of the city, the ‘Plage des Nations’ (Nations Beach) is a little more dangerous, and attracts mostly surf boarders.
