Queensway Tunnel

Constructed between 1925 – 1934 is the QueenswayTunnel, a fabulous piece of engineering and an amazing piece of architecture, a Grade II listed structure,with the demolition of the flyover the tunnelentrance is now highly visible, the tunnel links Liverpool with Birkenhead under the River Mersey, the statue’s at the entrance are of Queen Mary and King George V
