The main streets in Jiufen are composed of four roads with three vertical lines and one vertical line. Light roads are one of them, parallel to Car Road and Jishan Street. “Light Rail Road” was formerly known as “Light Car Tsai Road” and was the place where light cars passed during the nine gold rush. Lightweight vehicles are human-powered trolleys that travel on light railways and are built by the “Swonder Light Rail Co., Ltd.”, which can be used to carry minerals, cargo and people.
The Kisansan Activity Center on the Light Rail Road has been renovated and maintained. In addition to maintaining the functions of the original activity center, some of the space is used in the Visitor Center, a media guide is provided, and offers include Chinese, English and Japanese propaganda brochures, and tourism. The introduction of attractions, and other tourist centers also provide DIY teaching, visitors can call in advance booking.
