Pushkin Statue, Vladivostok, Primorskiy kray, Russia
There are several statues of Russia’s greatest poet, Alexander Pushkin, in St. Petersburg but the finest of them is probably that which stands in front of the State Russian Museum on Ploshchad Iskusstv. The monument was created by sculptor Mikhail Anikushin and erected in 1957 to mark the 250th anniversary of the founding of St. Petersburg.
This monument is located next to the lower station of the cable car. The monument is quite nice, clean, not like many other monuments to the great poet.
