Portscatho Beach
Portscatho is a small, working fishing village, which lies to the south of Gerrans Bay. The South West Coast Path passes through the village and provides access on foot to further beaches in Cornwall such as Pendower and Carne to the north, and Porthbeor and St Anthony Head to the south.. Holiday cottages in Portscatho provide self catering holiday accommodation near the beach.
Portscatho Beach is mainly rocky, with sandy patches. Beyond the village the beach stretches all the way up the bay to the sandy Porthcurnick Beach at low tide. Lovely walks also around the small village harbour at Portscatho and along the South West Coast Path.
