Ponte Mobile – Ravenna
The Ponte Mobile, or “Mobile Bridge,” is a vital structure in Ravenna, Italy, spanning the Candiano Canal and connecting the city’s historic center with the Darsena district. This bascule bridge, with a 32-meter span, allows for the passage of small vessels navigating between San Vitale and the Darsena.
In early 2025, the bridge underwent essential maintenance from January 27 to February 10, during which it was closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
