This cheerful and attractive contemporary restaurant near the Parliament building serves traditional Roman cuisine made from interesting seasonal ingredients. There’s a pleasant outdoor space (book well in advance), plus an unexpected wine cellar which is extremely well stocked and includes some top-quality wines.
“The story of Poldo and Gianna Osteria began in the ’90s with my grandparents. The memory of Grandma Gianna in the kitchen and Grandpa Poldo among the tables is still vivid. Today, my father Nicola and I continue to carry on the tradition. In January 2016, we opened the doors to ‘Poldo e Gianna Osteria,’ right in the heart of Rome, in a romantic alley full of history, facing the Parliament.”
