Space for leisure, preservation, knowledge and tourism. With 17 hectares of ciliary forest, the Vitoria da Conquista Forest Reserve is the ideal place when it comes to preserving the environment. The reserve shelters lush vegetation and is practically the last remnant of large forest of the urban area of the city. The forest also conserves a high representativity in relation to the fauna, with high biological diversity.
The Dark Well has been preserved since the origin of Arraial da Conquista. It is constantly visited by students from public and private institutions, university students and researchers. In addition to the diversity, they are attracted by the three trails that exist on site: main trail, east board trail and west board trail. In the environmental reserve, three types of vegetation are also found: Atlantic forest, forest of cipó and caatinga.
