Playa de la Malagueta, Málaga
This beautiful urban beach in Málaga should be included in every visit to the large Andalusian port city and will be remembered forever as a highlight of your stay. Almost 20 minutes’ walk from the old town and quick to reach on several bus lines, you will find lots of nice chiringuitos, loungers and beach umbrellas, kiosks and shops, fantastic palm-shaded areas of grass, and several children’s play areas and fitness trails on the broad area of sand. The one kilometre long beach, which is probably the best known in Málaga, nestles in the gently curved bay, lined by a beautiful promenade that is an inviting spot for a workout.
