The hill of the Church is a hill belonging to the São Joaquim National Park , located on the border between the municipalities of Santa Catarina of Bom Jardim da Serra , Orleans and Urubici .
At 1,822 m , its summit is the second highest in Santa Catarina and the fourth in the southern region of Brazil , behind the Boa Vista hill , with 1,824 m, in Santa Catarina, and the Caratuva peaks , And Paraná , with 1,877 m, of the neighboring state of Paraná . The hill of the Church is considered the highest point of the inhabited southern Brazil .
