Peak Tower, The Peak, Hong Kong
The unmistakable wok-shaped roof of The Peak Tower was designed by British architect Terry Farrell. Sitting just beneath Victoria Peak in the area known locally as ‘The Peak’, the mall’s viewing platform – Sky Terrace 428 – stands 428 metres above one of the world’s most breathtaking cityscapes. The Sky Gallery documents the ever-changing appearance of Hong Kong with an exhibit of historical photos.
On the shopping side, the multi-level complex is a good spot for picking up Hong Kong gifts and mementos – the Peak Market offers shoppers a modern reinterpretation of traditional Hong Kong shopping experiences such as Temple Street and Ladies’ Market with Chinese artwork, curios, silk, watches, jewellery and electronics on sale.
