Parz Lake, Armenia

Lake Parz into which numerous mountain sprigs flow, is a small lake located in Dilijan National Park, Tavush Region of Armenia and covers an area of two hectares. Everyone who visits Dilijan also takes a chance to go to the lake. The road that takes you there passes through dense forest. Some people also hike there as the road to the lake is very nice and full of numerous plants and trees that are typical for this region.

The Lake Parz is located at the altitude of 1400 meters above sea level. Its color is green. “Parz” in Armenian means clear/pure. The lake looks amazing in any weather. White wild ducks that swim in the dark lake complete the view and make it fairy.
